The kids don't remember when every PC gamepad was different, and the buttons were numbered. Buttons would say like A or B on them but the computer would read them as 3 or 4. Microsoft, handing it to em here, solved it.

Here's the thing- "most of the country" that has kids needs childcare during the day. "Most of the country" has two careers in the house, and of the portion that only has one, childcare cost is a factor. I'm saying this as a sole breadwinner of 11 years and counting, this angle is bullshit.
