That was rough to get through. Incredibly well done tribute with wonderful moments, but really hard to watch all two hours. Wonderful tribute from AEW to Pac. I don't think it could have been done better.

I know this is already a widely-made complaint, but I'm gonna rant on Crunchyroll anyway. We finished Madoka Magica in anime club the other day. I knew of it, never seen it, loved it. I knew the Blu-rays were gatekept behind the Crunchyroll store, & being Aniplex, expected the crazy high price...

I just paid $300 in medical bills, have another $2,000 one now due any day, and just found out today that my car is DOA. He's trying to find an engine (minimum $2,000-3,000) but that's a long shot, so possibly looking a new car I can't afford. I'm at a loss right now of what to do.

Oof, we just got hit with our second major flash storm and we just lost ANOTHER tree. We got lucky; this one could have hit the house but fell to the side, with another tree propping it up. But it's big & heavy enough that we gotta get that dealt with ASAP.

Tonight I finally got to introduce anime club to "Kodocha". They were laughing, so I think they liked it. That's been one I've wanted to show them for a long time now. I'd like to get "Samurai Pizza Cats" on the schedule at some point, too.

I would 100% support a law that says if any digital platform removes your access to media you paid for then they are required to refund you the entirety of the original purchase price. That would solve this whole thing in a hurry.

So I thought all the bills from my hospital visit in May had come in, but I just got another $200 one. Then I logged into my health provider account, and lookie there: another $2,000 bill that wasn't there before. I have government health care. I hate our health care system so, so much.

I've officially run out of the original bricks. Next week I'll have to go find some that hopefully match, or at least as close as I can. Outside of some digging, I'm at a stopping point with this project. I'll take tonight & tomorrow to work on ebay, then start rebuilding the sheds next week.

Day 1 of vacation was spent cleaning & reorganizing some rooms. Day 2 of vacation spent working on this brick path I had to take apart six months ago before a billion things kept me from getting to it. I'll finish this tomorrow, but good to see it finally getting rebuilt now that I have the time.

The torn up brick path 'before' picture.

The now half-restored brick path. Finishing the rest tomorrow.

I had to comment again, because man, this annoys me. I cannot think of any anime company or group that is more hated by anime fans right now than Crunchyroll. EVERY decision since being bought by Sony has been purposely ANTI-fan. If there was a way to alienate the community, they tried to find it.

Every time these guys go on TV & say how sexist Osoff is, one of the other commentaries should pull out a piece paper and read, "When you're famous, they let you do it..." quote. And when the Scott Bessents reply with outrage, answer with another paper that says, "She had blood in her eyes..."
