I'm a pensioner. And I'm lucky, my mortgage is paid off, and I'm reasonably comfortable. But then again, I've paid NI all my life... If the rich paid fair taxes, more people, of all ages, could have a better future to look forward to. Vote Green! For our communities, our country, and our planet.

I’m delighted to show off the cover of my second poetry collection, featuring art work by Helen Garrett - a painter of great clarity and depth. Poems from the past 8 years, about archaeology, myths, animals, art, the material of being, the living matter around us. Published on 1st November 😊

Watching the N Ireland [NI] Unionist Drumcree-Garvaghy Rd march imbroglio is devastating. It has long been a flashpoint in the Troubles [NI] & associated with Unionist triumphalism as they march thru a Nationalist minority area, they are not wanted in. As a result the march was banned since 1998

1/x In 1933 a crewed schooner picking through Arctic ice was overtaken by a ship with nobody at the helm. Ghost ships speak to the imagination, and most are fiction. This one is real, and she drifted for 38 years. This is the story of the SS Baychimo. #maritimehistory

This summer Britain burnt. 3000 people died from the heat. Yet this Government is drilling for more gas, despite scientist warnings & it won't make a difference to bills in the UK. We need to double down on renewables, not bend to the wishes of fossil fuel bosses. www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...
