lmao yes really I admit I was kinda ambivalent about Gaku - I've only seen the main ending and have yet to see the rest outside of spoilers (not from you, but just in general scattered around) - and seeing all the art made me go "I guess he's neat but only if Yugamu is tormenting him" looooool

Brain really being like "what if you wrote about volleyball" and me constantly going, "I don't know jack shit about volleyball except for [pairing] and I'm kinda salty still about my fics being stolen".

While I was running errands earlier today I had the insane thought, "What if I tried to write Kinktober this year?" ...completely forgetting 1) that it's already October; 2) I haven't written anything of note in god knows how long; 3) I don't even really have a fandom I'd write for? ouuuuugggghhhh

Some people might not be aware, but it is entirely possible that without Dolly Parton we wouldn’t have had a COVID vaccine. She partly funded Moderna’s research and gave the largest individual contribution to make it all happen. Just gives you an idea of the kind of person she was.

tumblr is having a great one about this, little masterpiece of a post I'd say

first post reads: Pro-censorship wattpad refugees drama is so funny to me because when I started using ao3 as a kid I was a devout mormon and I thought that reading anything even remotely pornagraphic was a sin and would ruin my life. So when I was 13 and found ao3 I went "oh awesome I found a fanfic website with a filtering system so I won't ever randomly stumble into porn. This is great! I was really worried about seeing something I didn't want to see on the other platforms." I didn't read any smut online until like three years later. If a mormon 13 year old can figure out 'don't like don't read' wattpad users can too cmon you guys i believe in you.
reblog reads: "you're less internet savy than a 13 year old mormon" is a diabolical thing to say to someone, I support it

Trending The online writing platform Wattpad is removing sexually explicit content and adult-themed stories from its site. In response to the new content guidelines, writers are moving their portfolios to Archive of Our Own to avoid permanent deletion. The shift marks a significant change in the platform's long-standing hosting policies for independent fiction authors and readers.
