I thought this was a joke post bit it is a real ad for an AI photo "restoration" company and... Have people just lost their damned minds? Did the person who made this not even look at it?

Most were ink painting that straddled the line between formal and abstract, but some of his color work was almost pop-art. Vibrant, lively, but with a strangely stilted perspective. Striking. I quite liked this one.

Arted it up at a local museum. They're hosting an exhibition of polymath (is there another word for a multi-talented artist?) Rosanjin. I'm a long time fan of his pottery, but this was my first exposure to his painting.

I went to my first Orienteering event today and came in first in the "New" class, because I was the only one in that class 😂 Still, I got two kilos of rice straight from the farmer, so that was nice. My son and his friend were also the only middle-school group, so they also came in first.

I went to the wildest place today. It's called なんでも屋/Anything Shop and it's the only name for it. Stacks of go boards, piles of half used stationery, handwritten sutras from the Taisho era, Sinatra cds... I bought the Howard the Duck novelization and a Flannery O'Connor collection. Amazing.
