When so many in prominent positions capitulate, it's quite incredible that Sally Rooney has continued to be vocal in her beliefs, even as it has a significant effect on her career.

Really enjoying @tomhumberstone.com's horror sequels series, especially the Nightmare on Elm Street edition. And not just because I feel that Dream Warriors is the best of the franchise because it empowers the group to fight back against Freddy. grave-offerings.ghost.io/fairy-tales-...

He's so prolific that although I don't always enjoy everything he puts his name too, I love that he is still so incredibly passionate about music, even after achieving so much success he could easily just kick back and not work so hard anymore.

They make such bold (and stupid) proclamations so confidently. Like: "Reading is dead. Amazon will end sales of physical books. AI can summarize millenia of knowledge in seconds and now I'm better than any scientist or professor. Why even teach when you could just ask Claude?"

This song is absolutely devastating. It has the kind of energy I remember from the first time I heard Korn's Daddy. It's brutal in a similar but unique way. Didn't imagine the gut-punch feeling I'd have after listening.

Brian Warner is a bad person, but if people want to see a medicore karaoke version of a mid 90s rock band, then sure, go see Manson. But it's immensly disappointing to see Slipknot put their reputation behind him with everything he's accused of. Makes you question the kind of people they are.

I don't know what's going on with Slipknot, but they released an abysmal track a couple of weeks ago and now are taking a terrible person (and mediocre musician) out on tour when they could give a leg up to a newer artist. Feels like this iteration of the band has lost the plot a bit.

The UI of many SEO news site are also terrible, so people browse on their phones, get overwhelmed with ads, pop ups, and other annoyances. Need to fix that before people will treat it differently, but they probably won't invest in that without 'proof' of new strategy, so seem a bit trapped?
