The same way the Right uses God to justify war, corruption, and greed, is the same thing technologists are doing now. They may acutally believe themselves. Instead of trying to compete with God, they use God and inculcate themselves in Christianity or with religious philosophy to gain infallibility.

Many valid critiques in the @helenlewis.bsky.social Atlantic article though… Criticism of DiAngelo aside, “white tears” is a real phenomenon. It may be naricisstic to weaponize the concept against someone in bad faith, but that doesn’t invalidate the idea.
