Things I've learned about people's reading habits this month: 1. People don't read first person books because *checks notes* "they would never personally do that" 2. Academics admit to not reading the works they cite 3. People from Booktok skip reading everything that isn't dialogue Were cooked

For something which is very common and a daily fact of life, it's amazing how English doesn't seem to have a direct neutral word to refer to poop "Poop" or "poo" sound too silly "Stool", "feces", and "excrement" are too formal "Shit" is too rude "Number 2" is an indirect euphemism & silly
