Trump is bad at reaching meaningful agreements with autocrats. He failed in his first term with Kim Jong Un. He played chicken with Xi & backed down. He got nothing from Putin to end the war in Ukraine. Negotiations with Iran aren't going well either. He's better at coercing democratic allies.

Trump has discovered the "infinite peace glitch" and has now ended the war in Iran for the 39th time. If all these peaces are added to the eight wars he already claims to have ended, he should have no trouble winning the Nobel Peace Prize.

One thing that should be very clear now, is that every one of Trump's claims in the last two months that an agreement with Iran was close, imminent, just around the corner, and that Iran had been militarily defeated and desperate for a deal....was made up. All were lies, every one.

You know the Kremlin is panicking when they start warning diplomats to evacuate Kyiv. The last thing Russia wants is a bunch of blown up diplomats on their hands. What do they want? Western politicians and media scared of ‘mighty Russia’ pressuring Ukraine to surrender territory.

Iran now says the deal is off after the White House walked back parts of its earlier proposal, which included sanctions and asset relief, and a lack of nuclear concessions, following backlash from Congressional Republicans and Trump's pro-Israel supporters.
