‘Even if perfection or perfect happiness isn’t possible, it’s still worth trying to improve – and it’s still worth trying to improve VAR.’ I know little about this in the sporting context but it occurred to me that you could replace ‘VAR’ with pretty much anything.

This term we've been working with 40 schools on using Comparative Judgement to assess oracy. The first set of results are now out - you can read about them here. blog.nomoremarking.com/assessing-or... We assessed students from Years 4 - 9 and the top score went to a Year 6!
