Heads up streamers against Generative AI... Fading Echo's Senior Producer has an interview stating their studio uses generative AI and calls it "inevitable" and that it can be used "ethically and correctly". 🤨 I was offered a code, but declined. #FadingEcho #twitch #antiai

I received a code for an #indiegame playtest that seemed promising... Everything was fine until a Gen AI disclosure popped up AFTER I HIT NEW GAME‼️ This was not disclosed on its Steam page. The PR outlet didn't give me that info either. 😡 Gen AI ruining my #twitch stream plans for the day. 😤

For Crazy Taxi World Tour, the team worked on expanding the world building and lore... But if you're using generative AI to make your game, why would I care at all about your world building or lore? If you can't be bothered to craft your game with care, I lose interest in caring about that world.

In 2025 I got to fly to Australia and for the first time hang out in person with my best friend, YV (y_v_1 on twitch). I doubt 2026 will be the year, but I hope whatever blessed year I get to hug YV again and stand on Australian beaches is counted down and rung in with haste. 🎆
