I’m not sure how many studies disproving ineffectiveness of privatization at improving wait times need to be done before Canadians stop voting for Premiers who keep promoting privatization as solutions for our health systems. If MAGAs aren’t too bright, some Cdns are far behind either.

What makes it more galling is that there's a known fix that isn't privatization. Earlier Ontario research found wildly uneven waits for the same procedure depending on which surgeon you happened to be referred to, and modelling showed a central intake for consultation and surgery nearly halved waits
