Since taking office, Carney has given US-controlled corporations 31% of all federal contracts - $7.8 billion. It’s a big jump from the 20% they were given over the same period pre-Carney. If Carney's serious about bucking reliance on 🇺🇸, he should put our money where his mouth is.

New from me! Earlier this year, the Town of Canmore implemented a 0.4% vacancy tax to fund the construction of non-market homes, and bolster the rental supply. While some worry this tax could affect the resort town’s attractiveness for recreational property buyers, so far it hasn’t.
