Yesterday sucked. I went to the dentist, my mean aunt’s house, did chores, worked in the garden for 3 exhausting hours (the fun part! 🌷), and then went to the emergency room and met the most condescending doctor I’ve encountered in DECADES. (I’m fine, just hypokalemic) EPIC BEDTIME AWAITS 😴

Today was a day off, so I did the bare minimum. I’ve gone straight from being sick with a cold, to a tooth infection needing a root canal tomorrow. 🤐 Thursday I’m back at work, so the bare minimum ended up being a lot of freaking errands and chores! 😅 Tomorrow’s gonna suck but at least I can rest.

I think there should be Service Industry Labor Day. The ENTIRE service industry gets the day off, except for services so essential that they can’t go a day without closing (hotels, pharmacies, etc). Employees who had to work that day would get the next day off. All paid, of course. +

I find it odd that I talk like someone from somewhere I’m not from; my parents aren’t from Utah, either. Mom grew up in Colorado like me, and while Dad was born in Washington, he spent like maybe five minutes there before being raised in California.
