I've been helping out @43081j.com on github.com/43081j/tangl..., and wanted a way to prioritize what to work on. I had an assumption that repos on Tangled, who have GH workflows but not yet Tangled workflows would be great candidates. So I did a quick script that goes through repos on Tangled...

Just wrapped up 3 days of bike packing in the mountains, most of it in between 1800-2300 meters of altitude, and lots of it on technical hiking trails. I can really recommend the route if anyone’s interested (starts in in Scuol CH and ends in Splügen CH, crosses over Italy twice).

Brought my sons along to the @zurichjs.com meetup tonight, they got some pizza, read some books and played a bit on the switch, and I was able to enjoy some of the talks. And they even got to bed at a decent time. I'm considering it a success!

Back in Denmark for a few weeks to see family, didn’t expect to see a (small, 5-6m) basking shark just off the coast. But there it is. Nature is amazing.

Been hanging out with the wonderful @npmx.dev folks (they are serious when they talk about community!) and a lot of other awesome people this week. What a great conference @localfirstconf.com and thanks to everyone organising!

Got asked by a neighbor if I could help his son out with a few issues he has with an app he's vibe-coded. I know next to nothing about app development, and besides if the agent cannot fix the errors then it would take me ages. So I counter-offered more general advice on the field instead, and now ..

Really enjoying the Storybook/Vitest integration and the accessibility addon. It's friction at its best; easily detect an issue, serve you a direct link to the documentation about the rule so you learn something as a developer + the details you need to go fix it immediately 👏

Had the chance to meet up with Sam & give early feedback on this wonderful post. He approaches his writing with what I would call a UX mindset, and it's pretty damn inspiring to see. I'm not gonna reach the same level of quality in my writing, and that's fine, but it's cool to see how far one can go

In all seriousness, from my experience it’s normal that feature-complete frontend’s will be considered “done”, and dedicated frontend resources are moved elsewhere permanently. I wouldn’t be surprised if this is the case here. In which case the fault is on mgmt, not engineering.

Knowing how to edit code in Neovim feels sorta like knowing how to mix Vinyl as a DJ. I learned the latter back in my previous younger/cooler life, which was lots of fun, a bit of a flex, and not something that the usual audience would care about at all.

Tested native type-stripping in Node yesterday, on a package I did. This requires you to specify `.ts` file endings on any TS files you’re running, which causes conflicts with your tsconfig file, that now needs the `allowImportingTsExtensions` flag, which is only allowed in comb. with `noEmit`.
