Being a weird kid is why I always loved Rogue. I felt like her. I wanted to reach out, be understood. But something was wrong. I felt isolated, surrounded by other kids. I couldn’t touch them. Then I gave up pretending. Started hanging out with the goths, nerds & weirdos. That's where I found home🖤

In a way, it's not surprising that the ruling class mocks and devalues Art while desperately trying to use AI to imitate it. Two of art's most important ingredients are empathy, which is taught is weakness: and failure, which wealth & privilege shields them from. These two things can't be bought.

Spent the last few days hanging out with the Hobby Lords CEO and a bunch of head office crew, and they really are dyed-in-the-wool hobbyists who care deeply about the community. CEO literally paused a meeting about staff rostering to go over someone's Pokémon card collection 😅

It's extremely commonplace to drive by a speed or red light camera any given day, or a booze bus any given night. Do people still speed, drink and not indicate? Sure, but they will probably get caught and adjust accordingly. From what I saw, UK drivers DGAF. It was jarring.

I felt no need to cast aspersions on your age, as I felt the aspersions I cast on your people covered my point. FR my cousin living in London agrees, road laws aren't policed like they are here. I drove by a speed camera on Thursday, saw someone get pulled over on Friday; both 5 minutes from home.

Not living in the UK, I don't have any recommendations on dash cams. But as someone who has visited the UK, you should definitely get a dash cam because all of the people on your island treat road rules as optional and it is objectively terrifying.

always think that anyone who thinks "for sale baby shoes never worn" is profound, has never been involved in child rearing. Because babies famously cannot walk therefore rarely utilise shoes, grow about a yard a day, and friends/family give you more clothes than could fit in a shipping container.

My problems have always been that a) Rudd & Lily have 0 chemistry and it's uncomfortable to watch and b) if the power works by moving they space between particles and keeping the same mass; when stuff gets big you should be able to put your hand through it.
