The discourse on antisemitism in the country is such that Mike Rogers can simultaneously attack Abdul El-Sayed *as* antisemitic, as a scary foreign Muslim critic of Israel, and also *with* antisemitism, as a tool of the foreign-born Jewish puppeteer.
"LEAKED: Footage of Abdul El-Sayed fundraising last night in the California home of the far-left Soros family.

Abdul’s education was paid for by the Soros family and NOW they are funding his campaign to make him a U.S. Senator

The Soros family is funding Abdul because he will carry out their agenda of:

➡️ defunding the police
➡️ emptying prisons, and letting violent criminals & sex offenders back onto the streets
➡️ gender transition surgeries for minors
➡️ allowing illegals to vote in American elections

Abdul is too extreme for Michigan."

The Pepco part of this is a whole saga but my understanding is they won't upgrade or replace the pole until it breaks or we could pay for something ourselves and be our own utility and that evidently would cost at least 30k. There's some WaPo reporting on this, with people citing various amounts.

Jenny Splitter @jennysplitter.bsky.social · 25/08/2026
Based on my reading of the article, it sounds like there are some products that could be used to ensure the energy just flows to the house and doesn't overload the utility? I love our house but it's definitely old and drafty and still reliant on more gas power than I would like!

Jenny Splitter @jennysplitter.bsky.social · 25/08/2026
Has anyone utilized these systems in a case where the utility has said there is no more capacity on your block? At our house, we can't get solar because we are one of like three houses that draws from an old pole that is already at max capacity. wapo.st/4gNukeR

One recurring theme in our stories is the many communities bearing the brunt of pollution. Today, it's a data center and fire risk, among other concerns. In the past it was a chicken processing plant and a devastating fire.
