Next game I'm playing: The Munchables. Sounds like a cannabis-based cereal. Impressions thus far though: it's a 3D platformer that's really simple, but pretty charming from its colourful wackiness.

Decided to lay out my Bayonetta collection too. Far from complete or anything, there are some things I'd still like to have like the Eyes of Bayonetta 1 artbook, but also some pieces I'm really proud of like the Bayonetta 2 soundtrack.

A collection of Bayonetta stuff, arranged neatly. At the bottom are five versions of various games. Behind it are the Bayonetta 1 and 2 Special Edition for Switch, the Bayonetta 3 Trinity Masquerade Edition, the Eyes of Bayonetta 2 artbook, four Bayonetta amiibo (2 unboxed, 2 boxed), the Bayonetta Nendoroid, a Scarborough Fair replica and the Bayonetta 1 and 2 soundtracks on CD.

Metroid: Zero Mission is amazing. I just finished another playthrough and got a whole new appreciation for it. Hooked from start to end. I think its biggest challenge for me is that its identity is not as distinct as games like Super, Fusion or Dread. But what Zero Mission does, it does amazingly

With Sonic Adventure 2 down, that's 24 games I've beaten this year. 26 if you count two extra games that I consider to be endless. Granted, a lot of those games are really short, but I'd still say that's already a good score for the year!

All right, I beat Sonic Adventure 2: Battle. And pff. I will always like and respect this game for its cultural impact and iconicness. But in terms of actually playing it? Nah man. Some parts were nice, but a majority was hampered by honestly poor design. Would not say I enjoyed playing it.

Another fake tattoo idea I tried, the infernal demon insignia from Bayonetta. Relatively simple, but I like it. Not sure I'd want this exact symbol in this exact spot permanently, but I like trying it out, and subtly representing my favourite game of all time :)

Katamari Damacy REROLL was fun, my first Katamari game, but I think I would've enjoyed it a lot more if I wasn't already so familiar with its quirkiness. Feels like it'd be better experienced going in blind. Charming enough for what it is, but I don't think I'll come back to it to be honest.

Started some new games. Katamari Damacy REROLL is pretty fun thus far, though I think it'd probably hit better if I didn't already know what Katamari Damacy is. And Slide Adventure Mag Kid on Nintendo DS is simple, but pretty charming and thankfully rather intuitive considering it's only in Japanese
