Hours into Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered and only now do I find out there's a map? And a crafting menu? And a bunch of abilities I can unlock? All because the devs forgot to map the menu to a button on default Steam Deck controller layout. Well that would've been nice to know earlier.

Started Horizon Zero Dawn (Remastered). First impressions: I'm enjoying it! As someone with very little experience with these kinds of big AAA exploration games, curious to see where it'll go. Thus far the tribe is giving me Jehovah's Witnesses vibes though and I don't like that.

Munchables is fun and really charming. A 3D platformer where you eat your enemies to grow in size. Colourful, silly and cute. I recommend it! Just beat it myself and I wish I had plushies of the protagonists. Also in the volcano it has the best enemy I've ever seen and I will not spoil what it is

Next game I'm playing: The Munchables. Sounds like a cannabis-based cereal. Impressions thus far though: it's a 3D platformer that's really simple, but pretty charming from its colourful wackiness.

Decided to lay out my Bayonetta collection too. Far from complete or anything, there are some things I'd still like to have like the Eyes of Bayonetta 1 artbook, but also some pieces I'm really proud of like the Bayonetta 2 soundtrack.

A collection of Bayonetta stuff, arranged neatly. At the bottom are five versions of various games. Behind it are the Bayonetta 1 and 2 Special Edition for Switch, the Bayonetta 3 Trinity Masquerade Edition, the Eyes of Bayonetta 2 artbook, four Bayonetta amiibo (2 unboxed, 2 boxed), the Bayonetta Nendoroid, a Scarborough Fair replica and the Bayonetta 1 and 2 soundtracks on CD.

Metroid: Zero Mission is amazing. I just finished another playthrough and got a whole new appreciation for it. Hooked from start to end. I think its biggest challenge for me is that its identity is not as distinct as games like Super, Fusion or Dread. But what Zero Mission does, it does amazingly
