I can't remember if it's 24% or 28% of people believe telepathy is real. The point of that statistic being don't expect any more (or less) than that percentage on the wrong side on just about any subject. Saddening, but it's helped me set expectations.

Naming bats must be hard, because they're ALL such weird little guys. I would have named this one GINORMOUS-EARS BAT, but instead, it's called the spotted bat (Euderma maculatum) for the three white spots on their normally dark-grey fur. Just be careful what you say about them, they're LISTENING.

A small furry puff of grey fur with long light brown wings folded up into limbs, with tiny legs dangling behind him, this little bat has big pink translucent ears, an open mouth full of jagged teeth on either side, but oddly bare spot in the front, and it's on a white background.

I happen to think its adorable, but your mileage may vary.

The weird/cool thing about vaccine side effects is how (for me at least) they vanish entirely within 36 hours. It FEELS like responding to a pathogen but it’s 100% immune system, 0% pathogen. So when the pathogen isn't actually there, my body can just be like "oh never mind" & turn the sickness off.
