I get questions on this occasionally but I had the germ of an idea for the leviathan books wayyyy before I ever learned anything about Attack on Titan. Back in 2013 I was thinking of writing another dense big present tense book, but it would be post-WW2 1950s against Lovecraftian Eldritch gods
