🧶 I love Mill Hill but this Old Friends kit is slaughtering me. Backstitch is Fierce. It originally came on 28 CT yellow linen but my brain is too small. Updated the colors to match me and my bestie. I should be more than halfway there!!! Def not to pattern, I have plundered lots.

🧶 I think these companies dont realize needleworkers are the most frugal of craft. We'll spend money where it matters the most (stands, supplies etc). A friend of mine tried to get me into a thread app that costs $80 a year 🤯 no thanks, will stick w/ my Thread Stash app 😅

🧶 68% WIP on Satsuma Street's Pretty Little Chicago. I feel like Pattern Keeper has kept my sanity. My friend is doing Hawaii by them on paper and shes having to thread switch very often. With PK I can see where other portions of the same thread are and keep going (most of the time).

🧶 I would like Etsy to know how full of shit they are. Download the app to see tracking...there is no tracking. But I had to get the app to know that 🤦🏽‍♀️ I never download the app because I buy mostly digital cross stitch files and you cannot download it from the app 🙃

Gems of London on Etsy made my wedding ring. The second ring I've had made. Very large hands woman, custom sizing - their rings stun and the staff is excellent! I can't believe I got this from the UK to southern USA in TWO DAYS. Natural emerald. Peridot. And blue topaz birthstones of my family. 💜

🧶 cross stitchers that sell. I've never sold. A potential customer wants 2 throw pillow cases with a logo on each. Logo is text but large. Possibly 18x18 inch. Would $50 be insane for hand stitched, sown and stuffed pillows?? Way out of my depth.

Auschwitz was at the end of a long process. It did not start from gas chambers. This hatred was gradually developed by humans. From ideas, words, stereotypes & prejudice through legal exclusion, dehumanization & escalating violence... to systematic and industrial murder. Auschwitz took time.
