I went to an old, dear friend's house for dinner tonight and- to my complete shock - he gave me a gargoyle from The Haunted Mansion that was made from the original 1969 mold by a (very) long time Disney Imagineer decades ago. Bolted into the wall and ride-accurate light bulb photos to come soon. 😈😀

I surprised The Lady by taking her to a 70mm screening of one of her favorite movies-- "Aliens"-- at the newly re-opened Village Theater. Before the movie started, we were told by the host that an "Aliens" historian was going to come in to talk about it and it turned out to be this big 'ole nerd...

Just to be very clear— The new German “Day of the Dead” release has absolutely nothing to do with the Scream Factory restoration that I produced. The licensors have never heard of the company that released this nor did they have access to the interpositive that I found.

If you haven’t seen PROJECT HAIL MARY yet, I highly, highly, highly recommend it. I very rarely use this word to describe something— It is MAGICAL. I walked out of this film with a smile from ear to ear and I’m pretty damn sure that you will too. It will cure what ails ya!

I've seen The Shining a million times but it has NEVER hit the way that it did in this format. It's like he specifically made this film for IMAX. The framing, the steadicam shots, the sound.... my god, the sound... it was so unnerving. Can’t wait to see it again!

You know that little graphic that says “LEAVING SOON” on streaming apps and then you have to find out which app the film has gone to (if it even does)? You don’t have to do any of that with physical media. You actually OWN the movie and can watch it any time you want.
