The O-line just can't make the holes they need and the wide outs / guard can't transition to screens but they keep trying. Hopefully that facet will come with some repetition. My favorite plan was the Hollywood play early on. That was so un-Eagles.

Epps has been a straight liability this whole game. Just infuriating, but man does Saleh know how to play Jalen. His D always has like a minimum of two INTs

All in all a pretty typical September opener. O-line is still a concern, but so many new coaches that it's far from panic time. Play calling felt fine, just had a bunch of plays blown up from O-line struggles.

This is, by far, my favorite mechanic from this set. It's deliciously intuitive flavor and mechanic wise, plus equipment is one subtype that could really use a boost. Also just an interesting design space to explore. Are we gonna get like temper counters in the future that give +0/+1? Lots of fun.

Connecticut, the true flyover state, nothing happens in that state. It's just interconnected highways to get from New York to Massachusetts or vice versa and it's boring to drive through. What does it contribute? No food or media. It's just the home of colleges that happen to be good at sports.

It usually means that the card is either a very narrow build around that requires a lot to break your way for it to be useful or that you don't want it but 0 on their scale is unplayable. I've definitely won games with a pile of 1s before but it's rare.

Agreed mostly because people in general struggle to achieve objectivity constantly, especially when it comes to their pet cards. That being said, in Magic, I've found ChannelFireball does the 1-5 well for limited. Even 1s can be playable in certain circumstances.

Excited for this. I felt like Ragnorak was a pretty big step down from 2018's. I'm happy to return to that earlier timeline. The reveal concept was sick. The combat looks... rough? Not very fluid at all. I imagine they have a long way to go until we see this.

It's such a fraught relationship at this point honestly. I fell in love with wrestling because of them but also they just have so much baggage at this point that I hate supporting them. AEW isn't perfect but at least they don't have active human trafficking charges against some of their talent.

It's just another one of ensuring I see everything there is to see in a game. I don't do it for most games but for the ones I love, I'm happy to 100% complete them.

Their style is brutal to maintain past regulation. They are constantly moving. Coupled with a bunch of nice chances that no one finished on, we are in this hole. Flyers definitely played aggressive but they were for most of the night.

Canes were gased which played a huge part. I don't think you can replicate that all game, but they played well for most of tonight.

The pace really lends itself well to the story they are telling. I bet, based on your tastes in games, you're gonna love it all the way though. The boss battles can be grindy but they are like a puzzle and it's very very unique in its scale.
