Jeff @jeffchaley.bsky.social · 28/09/2026Bo Nix just threw it up for grabs and nothing bad happened. Somewhere Bryan Harsin vomited a tiny bit in his mouth. 010
Jeff @jeffchaley.bsky.social · 28/09/2026Matt Stafford runs like I do. I have a bad knee and turn 50 in a week. 000
Jeff @jeffchaley.bsky.social · 26/09/2026So many penalties, but an ugly win beats an ugly loss. Particularly on the road. 000
Jeff @jeffchaley.bsky.social · 21/09/2026Is this a thing? Because it absolutely would make it easier. 011
Jeff @jeffchaley.bsky.social · 18/09/2026That honestly sounds like a pain in the ass. I prefer to just read the paper. 001
Jeff @jeffchaley.bsky.social · 15/09/2026The question basically reduces to, do you want your child to be able to sleep or not this week? We watched that one after our son was in bed. 000
Jeff @jeffchaley.bsky.social · 13/09/2026PK’s approach was to take Smith out of the game. That’s not the plan tonight. 010

Jeff @jeffchaley.bsky.social · 12/09/2026Honestly, attempts to make it more precise have made the game worse for spectators. So many replays. The World Cup reminded me that if soccer doesn’t even take the clock seriously why are we trying to measure out of bounds with lasers. 020
Jeff @jeffchaley.bsky.social · 12/09/2026Football is an amazing sport for false precision. I really miss bringing out the chains to find the ball was short by 250 microns. 110
Jeff @jeffchaley.bsky.social · 12/09/2026Figuring out half the distance to the goal requires calipers in this case. 110

You just have to figure out if you need to log in to parentsquare or canvas or skyward or google classroom or the lunch payment portal or the technology payment portal or the bussing smart tag app or Final Forms for sports or 151377

Jeff @jeffchaley.bsky.social · 04/08/2026Damn. 4 grandmasters is like 0.2% of all active grandmasters in the world. They have to be recruiting, right? 210
Jeff @jeffchaley.bsky.social · 30/07/2026I bought some things I ended up not finding useful long term. The stuff that was useful: a barbell set I found on sale. A bench. A low cost squat rack I got cheap online. It had a pull-up bar, but if you go with one that doesn’t have it those pull-up bars you stick in a door frame work. 010
Jeff @jeffchaley.bsky.social · 29/07/2026Yeah, good noise canceling headphones can block out the announcements where they try to get you to sign up for a credit card. They can easily block out this. 000

Jeff @jeffchaley.bsky.social · 21/07/2026I had someone who potentially wanted us to use it for a project. I looked at the safety information and responded “absolutely not.” We can handle some pretty nasty/toxic stuff in our lab but that’s on a whole other level. 110

Jeff @jeffchaley.bsky.social · 12/07/2026No. Not at all. They encourage first time parents to ride the early part of labor out at home because you will be more comfortable. And my wife has a high pain tolerance, is task-oriented, and likes soccer. 110
Jeff @jeffchaley.bsky.social · 12/07/2026I enjoy the World Cup as a sporting event and also for sentimental reasons. Almost 8 years ago my wife went into labor the day of the World Cup final. We got the baby’s room ready and the watched the World Cup final before deciding it was time to go to the hospital. 100
