I’m not personally interested in eating any form of meat anymore, whether lab grown or from an animal directly. But I think lab grown meat could be a great option for producing pet food for animals like cats, which the consensus is that they are obligate carnivores.

This is why I prefer shows like Cirque De Soleil, because it’s all human performers who have chosen to participate in the program (and most are phenomenal atheletes). I wish I had a magic wand to make rodeos and circuses with captive animals disappear.

I recall reading something about Teslas having a “pet onboard” setting that would run the A/C even while parked so that the interior cabin shouldn’t overheat. Of course there is no way of knowing if the owner of this abomination is actually using that feature.

I was lucky enough to see PF live in ‘76 when they played at the Brewers Stadium in Milwaukee. They set up on home plate and had speaker towers on all 3 bases. Mostly played songs from these two albums. What a special experience that was.

I harvested my very first Reed avocado today from the tree I bought last summer. It weighed in just shy of 1.5 pounds and was about 5 inches long from top to bottom. It’s the only fruit that will be ready this year.

I would be curious what fraction of people on a WFPB diet are doing so only because of their conclusions that this style of diet benefits their health regardless of any other considerations (like benefits to animals and/or the environment). I’m vegan for all the positive benefits in offers.

I’ve got all those ingredients and already use them when I make my own tofu scramble. Another trick I use to help make tofu scramble a little more like scrambled eggs is to use some Just Egg to coat the tofu. I use around 1/4 cup of Just Egg and crumble in extra firm tofu. Add spices and voila!

Lots of coyotes here in San Diego county. I’ve always kept my feline roommates inside and it’s never been a problem in all the years I’ve been lucky enough to share my home with them. They have plenty of toys and perches by windows to watch birds. They show no interest in trying to go outside.

You had A/C? My Geo Metro did not. It was a real “fun” experience driving from Il to CA in June back in 2002 with no A/C. My left arm got pretty sunburned hanging out the open window as I drove west. And driving up the Rockies on the interstate was very slow going. Just tucked in behind semis.

I enjoy this product very much. You can amp up the eggy flavor by sprinkling a little black salt after cooking. I also like to use it to coat crumbled super firm tofu. I use about 1/4 cup of Just Egg, add a touch of salt and pepper, and crumble in tofu and mix. Cook like scrambled eggs.
