I thought Control was real bad, so I don’t put much faith into reviews of the sequel. The combat of the original was so bad and repetitive I turned on one-hit kill assist mode about 3/4th through it. Remedy’s games try to pretend they are some deep Lynchian story, but it’s just weird keys jingling.
