Have you tried the molded ones? The most comfortable in-ears I ever wore were molded tips for Shure IEM drivers, they passively block more ambient sound than the active systems, and they actually fit. Little spendy and they make your 80 buck headphones look like they’re dipped in playdo though.

Sometimes the baby steps as advised are too hard in the middle of a flair up, I think it’s ok to invent even smaller baby steps leading up to the original baby steps. It’s like backing up and building a more gradual ramp. Plus, I think starting over goes a little smoother each time.

Yes and no. I don’t think it went away, I don’t think I ever fixed what caused it. But the things I’m able to do with it now are almost normal. It probably takes me six times longer to reach fitness goals now, but I am getting there and I know what to do when the fatigue flares up and I start over.

I started wearing a heart rate watch to do basic things, it mostly protects me from myself. The watch checks my ego when I feel like I’m supposed to keep pressing forward, it gives me a visual reminder to rest and get my heart rate back down throughout the day.
