For example the game doesn't exactly pop up a tooltip that you can warp to your friends, or that if you're on KBM you can just... hold down click on enemies to keep attacking. But those are very helpful to know. The button is just kinda there with a symbol and you're like "what's that"

You definitely don't need the context of the first game to make the second make sense - they give you enough to just kinda go for it. So far this one maintains a lot of the charm and "go go dopamine button" of the first, though I would make sure you take a second to know what every button does!
