This one was started in 2022 and abandoned. I knew what it needed but lacked the courage to get back to it. The "Backyard Apocalypse" works started explosions, but I edited them out as the series matured. Time to finish it.

Day 6. Almost 6 hours today on the lower 1/3. Was a struggle because I was out last night until 11 and that is Just Not Done. Basic shape is now mostly set I think. Now just hours and hours of refining. Tired but happy with what I got done.

I'm about 2/3 through this and I can recommend it. It's like Sherri Tepper meets Clive Barker and also some detective writer that I don't know because I don't read that stuff. Entertaining & engaging. Pick it up if you like fantasy with some mystery flavours.
