This is a red herring. a 10 cent fare increase isn’t going to bring much service increase. Fares shouldnt be the main revenue for transit option. It’s “public” for a reason. It needs a steady fusing stream that’s not just from fares.

Final stop on the busway, Ellesmere station. The busway ends south of the station building with the NB stops being beside the station and the SB across the street. You can see the RT infrastructure in the station still. (funny i didn’t take more pics!)

In that campaign, Carney never said a word about airport, seaport privatization, corporate tax cuts, or changing labour legislation. So, Carney has no mandate from the people to do these things.

Carney is copying premier Ford bringing in a gigantic omnibus bill containing just about everything that will please the business and corporate community. Omnibus bills are very long and deliberately very difficult to read everything that is in them, changing or introducing many laws all at once. These bills make it much harder for the opposition to challenge bad laws.
