For the Kraken they are likely headed to the same place (not close to a playoff spot, not bad enough to pick top 3) Bottom falls out if the goalies collapse or they move Dunn/McCann early They could overperform if thr Pacific remains garbage and young guys take a step forward (Beniers/Catton/Wright)

Can't believe the season is a week away. Pens prediction for this year is they make it back into the playoffs coming in 3rd in the Metro (have the Caps bumping Philly out with the Atlantic taking both wild cards again), driven by strong offense and forward depth with goal prevention remaining...

On second thought I think what they're actually trying to do is create the premium death spiral they've been long predicting but that hasn't actually happened. They're saying not filing a claim is evidence of fraud, which gives them an excuse to kick healthy people off the system and manufacture it.

the other underrated piece of this is pulling in some ex millitary guy without a contract or vetting. The whole damn society needs to get over the idea that a) ex-millitary is automatically good/qualified and b) that any "millitary style" training is worth a damn for any non-millitary career
