The Doomed Timelines is a Homestuck Podfic Podcast, and has auditions open to anyone 18+ who wants to play any of these roles! Don't worry about having a specific "sound" for any character, or any experience you may or may not have. This is for fun! cstng.cc/projects/it-...

A purple and yellow ship flying in front of a grey void with lighter grey and black void blobs.
On the bottom there is a line of microphones: One in the same purple as the post's text. One in Dave's red. One in Karkat's grey. One in Sollux's yellow. The final in Eridan's purple.

TR-49 review – inventive narrative deduction game steeped in the strangest of wartime secrets

The UK game developer’s latest is a database mystery constructed from an archive of fictional books. Their combined contents threaten to crack the code of reality

Btw, we've been sharing reviews all morning, but a lot have spoilers in them! TR-49 is best experienced as it presents itself. Set yourself 2 hours. Curl up with an iPad or Deck, if you can. Have a pen handy if you like: definitely a cup of tea, so it can go cold. Trust us. The TR49 has got you.

The image is a screenshot of the machine from the game TR-49. It's a contraption of wires and levers, with a glowing circular screen, and a code-entry window of two letter followed by two numbers. There's a face floating in the glass of the screen.

Play this!! I'll be streaming the PC version (that comes out in a couple hours) after work! I helped playtest this game, and it's genuinely such a good time. Challenged me and made me feel smart when I figured things out!

Literally everything lol Especially at the beginning of the game. Personal life? Past? Felixe side steps that shit in his sleep

000

Jackie's Podcasts+ @jaxyacks.com · 09/01/2026

Felixe mostly misses his study and some of his stuff and his usual lifestyle more than what I tend to think of as homesickness.

A day late but here's a little snippet featuring Jones (the player character), Felixe, and Professor Osbourne! A version of this is available in my demo on itch, but I've now removed references to The Magnus Archives and changed around some variables and such.

The professor's smile freezes in place and his eyes narrow. "You disagree?"
Felixe sighs heavily and puts his pencil down with a deliberateness you've seen your teachers use when they're making a point of being done with whatever shenanigans you've been up to. He looks at the professor silently for a moment. "Yes," he finally says, then shrugs, "but it's your class, not mine."

Is this... how people talked to teachers in college? Professor Osbourne seems content with the answer, but maybe that's only because Felixe is an adult.
Well, you're an adult, too, but, like, a real adult. A published author, apparently.
Choice 1: Interrupt.
Choice 2: Let them keep going .
Result of Choice 2:
Add +1 to felpo.
Professor Osbourne spreads his arms graciously, "If you have a critique, by all means, don't hold back." His smile feels like a trap, and you catch Brigid fidgeting nervously out the corner of your eye.
"I think I've made my critiques pretty clear already, and despite the impression I seem to be making, I _am_ here to learn, even if I don't agree with everything being said. You have all semester to convince me."
Trap averted?
"That seems reasonable enough. Though I doubt it will take me all semester to do so."
Felixe just snorts and goes back to his writing, and the professor doesn't pursue it any further.
Result of Choice 1:
Add +1 to ospj.
Add +1 to Jones Change Distraction.
Set interrupt to true.
"I'm not scared of monsters," you say abruptly, barely realizing you had the thought before it left your mouth.
Felixe glances back at you for a second, but Brigid and the other students turn to look between you and the professor expectantly.
Osbourne's first smile is back, the one where it seems like he's laughing at you. "Ms. Jones, yes?" he asks, as though he didn't greet you by name when you first came in. "Would you care to elaborate?"

Probably something in the vein of relying on/trusting others and not cutting people off at the first sign of real conflict. To be fair, it was a kinda big conflict in the canon of our campaign. One day I will get to that point in the IF I'm writing and you can see if it happens to your Felixe, too!

I wrote a little Christmas AU fic for Bondless Prince, Bloodless Knight! archiveofourown.org/works/225520... #ambrolenfic

Jackie's Podcasts+ @jaxyacks.com · 06/01/2026

Felixe is well off enough to own a small house in a relatively small college town and an older car. He lucked out that his books sell well and he's able to spend all of his time working on them. Again, initially a self-insert character so there was more than a little wish fulfillment lol

000

Jackie's Podcasts+ @jaxyacks.com · 06/01/2026

Felixe would want to do something low-key. Maybe dinner at a nice but not Nice nice restaurant, and/or a personally meaningful present, just something kinda small and intimate. Maybe do a weekend getaway to do some sight seeing or something for a big milestone.

000

Jackie's Podcasts+ @jaxyacks.com · 04/01/2026

Felixe tends to be a pretty practical thinker so I think he'd weigh the pros and cons and probabilities of achieving the goal. He's not one to give up quick, but he's less likely to fight for something he deems to be a lost cause without convincing external encouragment

000

Jackie's Podcasts+ @jaxyacks.com · 04/01/2026

The prejudice other characters have against Felixe is one of the major themes of Caedes lol He does not deal with it well. Big on the "do not talk about feelings and cut people off before they can cut you off" sorta guy

010

Jackie's Podcasts+ @jaxyacks.com · 01/01/2026

This is mainly about Caedes, but I would also like to get back to Change Your Fae. I just have to decide if I still want to make it into a visual novel and just find a bunch of placeholders with the hope I can hire an artist or more later or translate it into Ink

I really really really want to work more on my games this year! I still need to finish up BPBK and might still do some stuff for that, but outside of my podcasts and maybe some one off other projects (like the occasional game jam or writing challenge), those are my focus

111

Jackie's Podcasts+ @jaxyacks.com · 01/01/2026

Genuinely I don't think Felixe is really capable of that. He sort of has one depending on how certain events go in the game (they kinda went like that in the og campaign but not to the potential extreme), but in general he doesn't have a lot of true hate in him This is not always a good thing lol

010

Jackie's Podcasts+ @jaxyacks.com · 28/12/2025

Felixe. Who *admits it* first is another question lol

I forgot Malaclypse (Masks campaign)! It goes between Felix and Amber
