The Doomed Timelines is a Homestuck Podfic Podcast, and has auditions open to anyone 18+ who wants to play any of these roles! Don't worry about having a specific "sound" for any character, or any experience you may or may not have. This is for fun! cstng.cc/projects/it-...

Text: It Takes Two (And Two More) By Laurasauras. TDT.
A purple and yellow ship flying in front of a grey void with lighter grey and black void blobs.
On the bottom there is a line of microphones: One in the same purple as the post's text. One in Dave's red. One in Karkat's grey. One in Sollux's yellow. The final in Eridan's purple.

A day late but here's a little snippet featuring Jones (the player character), Felixe, and Professor Osbourne! A version of this is available in my demo on itch, but I've now removed references to The Magnus Archives and changed around some variables and such.

The professor's smile freezes in place and his eyes narrow. "You disagree?"
Felixe sighs heavily and puts his pencil down with a deliberateness you've seen your teachers use when they're making a point of being done with whatever shenanigans you've been up to. He looks at the professor silently for a moment. "Yes," he finally says, then shrugs, "but it's your class, not mine."

Is this... how people talked to teachers in college? Professor Osbourne seems content with the answer, but maybe that's only because Felixe is an adult.
Well, you're an adult, too, but, like, a real adult. A published author, apparently.
Choice 1: Interrupt.
Choice 2: Let them keep going .
Result of Choice 2:
Add +1 to felpo.
Professor Osbourne spreads his arms graciously, "If you have a critique, by all means, don't hold back." His smile feels like a trap, and you catch Brigid fidgeting nervously out the corner of your eye.
"I think I've made my critiques pretty clear already, and despite the impression I seem to be making, I _am_ here to learn, even if I don't agree with everything being said. You have all semester to convince me."
Trap averted?
"That seems reasonable enough. Though I doubt it will take me all semester to do so."
Felixe just snorts and goes back to his writing, and the professor doesn't pursue it any further.
Result of Choice 1:
Add +1 to ospj.
Add +1 to Jones Change Distraction.
Set interrupt to true.
"I'm not scared of monsters," you say abruptly, barely realizing you had the thought before it left your mouth.
Felixe glances back at you for a second, but Brigid and the other students turn to look between you and the professor expectantly.
Osbourne's first smile is back, the one where it seems like he's laughing at you. "Ms. Jones, yes?" he asks, as though he didn't greet you by name when you first came in. "Would you care to elaborate?"

Pick Your Gender hit 600 plays!! The wonderful comments I've received mean so much to me. It's such a personal game, and I can't express how moved I've been to see other people connect with it so deeply, whether or not they're trans masc, or even trans! Thank you for all of your support!

Happy Bisexual Visibility Day to my favorite skrunky little oc, Felixe! He's bi, nonbinary/trans masc, pronouns he/they (primarily uses he but does not use masculine honorifics)

A chibi style scruffy man with glasses and a large backpack. He looks tired. Credit to questionartbox for the commission

Two sketches of a tired looking guy wearing glasses, a hoodie, jeans, and a backpack. His hair is ruffled and he has a 5 o'clock shadow.
The first sketch has him moving forward with the caption "aight, Imma head out"
The second sketch has him looking off to the side with one eyebrow raised with the caption "mm-kay"

A chibi-esque head of a tired looking guy with glasses, reddish-brown hair, green eyes, and a 5 o'clock shadow. In addition to tired, he looks unimpressed or perhaps tired of your bullshit specifically.

A mood board
In the center is a picrew of a scruffy man with red hair and green eyes holding a book and a pen
Top left: paper and pen
Top center: fire
Top right: disembodied eyes
Center left: a book filled study
Center right: a disembodied smile
Bottom left: a hall of mirrors of different shapes and frames covering the walls
Bottom center: art from a magic the gathering card (I forgot which) of inhuman looking people seemingly being puppets. They have what looks to be a white mask for a face
Bottom right: a military medal

Happy TDOV to my beloved trans characters! Primarily: Karkat from Bondless Prince, Bloodless Knight, my medieval dirkkat au (archiveofourown.org/works/225520...) (trans man, he/him) and Felixe from my interactive fiction game, Caedes (ambrolen.itch.io/caedes-short...) (trans masc/nb, he/they)

Picrew of a stocky, frowning man. He has tan skin, disheveled dark brown hair, and thick black eyebrows that are slightly pinched together. He is wearing dark armor with a blue shirt underneath.

Picrew of a white man with disheveled reddish-brown hair, square glasses, green eyes, and reddish-brown patchy facial hair scruff, like an overgrown. He has pierced ears, and is wearing a white tshirt with a black collar, a olive green zip up hoodie, and blue jeans. His hands are on his hips and he's holding a pencil in one hand and a notepad in another. There is a satchel slung over one shoulder. His nails are painted black.

Today is International Transgender Day of Visibility! Our team believes in creating beautiful games that can be played by everyone, with characters everyone can relate to. Tumblr post by orcbara:

Too many stories about turning yourself into a monster as a metaphor for pretending to be something you aren't and losing yourself in the process. Not enough stories about turning yourself into a monster as a metaphor for choosing to openly embrace yourself even if it's strange to other people.

Any time the conclusion of the story is "and then he turned back to normal because what really matters is being true to yourself and being loved for being who you really are: a boring human," I hear a spongebob boo-womp. can you tell I'm autistic by the way?
