I dragged it out as long as I could because I didn't want to leave this story, but I'm now current with Out-of-Placers :( I don't think I can do a week by week read of this comic, the story can get really intense at times. I think I'll have to wait a year or 2 between catch ups.

I recently stumbled upon the web comic Lusty Argonian Maid'd, which is an ongoing comedy series set in the Skyrim universe. When looking up the artist I discovered that they also create The Out-Of-Placers web comic, which is where the Yinglet species originates. I've got to highly recommend both.

Just got done reading The Fox Wife yesterday. I enjoyed it quite a bit, it's actually kind of 2 different stories up until the end flipping back and forth every chapter between a private investigator & a fox woman seeking revenge set just before the fall of the Qing Dynasty.

I got home to find a lot of water dripping from my windowsills & doorways. I spent the past 2 hours on my roof shoveling a foot of snow off to prevent any more water getting into the roof behind a 4 inch thick ice dam. I went in the attic to find about 10 broken boards. Hope winter ends soon 🙃

It took me a few days, but I finally finished reading through the 2025 Cacowards. What an incredible year for Doom, I see no end in sight for the for the amount of incredible things people are making in the community. It was nice to see that even Perdition's Gate Resurgence got an honorable mention.

I went up north to do some hiking this weekend. It ended up raining a lot, which was pretty annoying, but in between rain I was able to hit Petobego Pond, Fisherman's Island State Park, Stutsmanville Bog, Consuelo and Charles Forest Reserve, & a few others.

Furry Migration was simply amazing, seriously one of the best fur cons I've ever been to. The room party block is one of the best features of any fur con, it made for a truly unique experience & it is an excellent way to meet some awesome furries.

On the way home from Furry Migration I made 3 more really quick stops at Little Cannon River Falls & Vermilion Falls in Minnesota and Glen Park Falls in Wisconsin. It took me 10 hours to get home after the last stop :P

Before getting to Furry Migration on Friday I made a few waterfall stops along the way including at Big Falls & Cascade Falls in Wisconsin and Fairy Falls & Minnehaha Falls in Minnesota.

I ended up only making a few stops today. The statue is Chief Walks With The Wind in Starved Rock State Park. Artist Peter "Wolf" Toth carved 50 of these Indian statues, one for each state. This is only the 2nd one I've seen after Michigan's. The waterfall is Trout Falls on Fort McCoy in Wisconsin.
