you can't be serious. This reads Meta/Facebook/Insta is looking to grant itself the rights to scrape websites across the open web - and train Meta's AI - if a company after Oct 30, 2026 uses Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp or other Meta services. So every biz. Read that again. Outrageous. 1/5

The Hatch Act doesn’t have a lot of teeth, but one thing it DOES have is that they can prevent people from working for the federal government for 5 years and they should use that to remove every political hack protected by civil service or statute in 2029.

Last year, Trump and 98% of elected GOP enacted the biggest Medicaid cuts in history, bigger even than Reagan's Medicaid cuts. By 2034, 7.5 million people will lose their Medicaid because of the cuts. Clinics are already closing and hospitals are already cutting services, citing OBBBA as a reason.
medicaid cuts from obbba grow to 16% by 2034

I've posted some of these before, but it's wild to see the Palace of Fine Arts in ruins during the years between the end of the 1893 Worlds Fair and the 1933 opening of the MSI? I first saw a few of these images in an elementary school library book when I was a kid. I was astonished.

This is such a scoop. For many reasons, including: Trump had made a couple of comments about Omar in the first term, but neither she nor Somali Americans were a Trump obsession at that time. (But Somalis _were_ a Miller obsession.) www.washingtonpost.com/national-sec...

Trump officials scrutinized Omar in 2019. They didn’t find citizenship issues.
The earlier review of Omar’s immigration records looked at many of the same issues being investigated now.

Republicans' anti-democracy project has a fast track (Trump) and a slow track (Roberts Court). They sometimes disagree on specifics, but both tracks backslide the US, and do more in concert than they could on their own. If you excuse the slow track because it's not the fast track, you're a sucker.
