My parents got Bakshi's "The Lord of the Rings" on VHS from the library. With the rough rotoscope style on the Nazgul and orcs, I didn't understand whether it was live or animated, which made it all the more uncanny and frightening. 10/10, would be terrified as a child again. 👌 No notes.

Painted up the Lord Veritant from the Spearhead magazine. I really enjoy the challenge of the Knights Excelsior theme; sinister paladins in pure white armour bestriding the battlefield and channelling eldritch lightning. Also finally got to try out the Jon Hodgson backgrounds! #nerdlings
