Trump tomato tariffs could spell the end of free chips, salsa at restaurants
The 17% tariff on Mexican tomato imports, combined with bad weather in Florida and Mexico, has caused the price of salsa ingredients to spike in recent months.

Trump critics often seem too passive as they count down to eventual Democratic control of Congress and the White House. But Canada has long been an important ally and a good neighbor. Where's the grassroots effort to counteract brazenly illegal tariffs *now*? Buy Canadian goods; vacation up north!

Wars are extremely hard things to justify. It is intrinsic to what they are that they tend to death, destruction, and misery. Given this and some knowledge of history, one's default attitude towards powerful people purporting to do the world some great benefit by war should be extreme scepticism.
