Last week spent 14 hours in A & E. Fantastic staff at every stage & grade, working under impossible circumstances. Our health service needs to be not for profit, and properly funded - this needs to be in the foreground of any plan

Very good to be back at the Labour History Archive at the People's History Museum, reading through pictures and Molly's letters home when she was nursing in the Spanish Civil War. Thanks to archivist Darren for looking after us. #MollyMurphy #HistNursing

Well done @rcnlibraries for an excellent exhibition. Historic context, memories and collaboration with current prisoners and nurses offer a window into this hidden, but essential nursing speciality. Currently at the Edinburgh library, and open to the Fringe! #hustnursing #edfringe

Four weeks into the latest escalation in #Lebanon, the humanitarian situation is rapidly deteriorating. Health facilities are closing, hospitals are evacuating and medical staff are working under immense pressure as access to care becomes increasingly difficult and communities are disrupted.

Very interesting - this was a huge public health problem, across the globe, that has been under researched. Always made worse by war, it is yet another aspect of the collateral damage caused far beyond the battlefield
