Introducing our line-up.. Pleasure Pool Pleasure Pool is Finn O’Hare (synths, production), Andrew Robertson (vocals), and a rolling cast of Glasgow-based musicians. Pleasure Pool’s sound is a patchwork of echoing, dubby vocals, synth melodies, louche percussion, cowbells, and flecks of trumpet.

Love it when folks discover Chas n Dave were funky. Dave Peacock played the bass on the bit Dre and Eminem sampled, and the drummer was C&D's long term collaborator Ian Wallace who worked with everyone from King Crimson to Stevie Nicks

My first visits to the UK in the late 1970s, the Cadbury's vending machines on London Underground platforms blew my mind. As an American accustomed to Hershey's, I could not believe how friggin good that chocolate was.

Yesterday, Gem found out that icicles sound like xylophones. I went back today to activate their tiny wooden sounds. I then put the recording through an arpeggiator & added some grain delay. I'm really happy with the percussiveness of it all. Hope you're all staying warm! youtu.be/_BhT8R5VeOM?...
