I've kept an eye on my contributions but, seeing this article, I checked again this morning - only to find HMRC now saying that I've missed a year (which I haven't). Is this a glitch or am I going to have to fight my way through their systems to find someone to talk to?

An AI flyer is a brown M&M test. If your event or business is cutting corners by using an AI flyer, where else are you cutting corners? What else are you cheating out on? Why should I be bothered to go somewhere you couldn't be bothered to promote with a little of your own personality?

Interesting reading - but it appears they weren't actually using Claude to develop the guidance algorithms as some of these have been in the public domain for many years. Claude was just adding the finishing touches and applying these algorithms to the particular platform.

Bought at the same time as my first CD player. Now I could hear everything that the recording engineer wanted me to hear.
Two CDs. The top one is music by Vaughan Williams featuring a picture called The Hay Cart by Henry John Yeerd King. The bottom one is Geffery Morgan by UB40.

I have a working wind up gramophone that is nearly 100 years old although the 60 year old Garrard turntable sees more use. However, my son has a Britannia musical box with metal discs from the early 1900s which he plays regularly.

Guildford area Bass player wanted for August gigs - battle of the bands coming up on 14th August (first prize £10k) and a warm up gig at the Fiery Bird in Woking on either 31st July or 7th August - TBC. Would ideally love someone whose bass style is inspired by the Pixies, New Dad, Wet Leg.

Guildford area Bass player wanted for August gigs
We have a battle of the bands coming up on 14th August (first prize £10k) in Guildford and a warm up gig at the Fiery Bird in Woking on either 31st July or 7th August - TBC.

We need a bass player for original songs (i.e. you'll mainly be making the bass lines up, however there are songs with specific bass lines and riffs). Would ideally love someone whose bass style is inspired by the Pixies, New Dad, Wet Leg - basically chunky bass lines that are quite prominent in the songs.

We have videos and live recordings available on Instagram, Sound Cloud, YouTube, etc. All the links are available at www.sleeptalksounds.com

I went to pick up my son from Gatwick today and one thing that struck me as I walked out of the car park was the strong smell of tobacco smoke. I've not noticed it this much for years - even outside pubs. Does air travel attract more smokers? www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

Exactly 20 years ago, Scotland became the first part of the UK to outlaw smoking in bars, restaurants and offices.
