I’m considering swinging my PV from G to L because if TOP get 5% they’ll talk first to the party with the most votes. That means I would have to prioritise a change of govt ahead of the government I want. This election is really fucking me off.

Is Labour's position that weird? Three years and six years and nine years ago, we didn't think we could get a CGT done. So, even though that would have been our preference, we did the weird deductability thing. This time we're doing CGT, so there's no need to do the interest thing for houses only.

Holy shit! Got home, no jiji. Gave the biscuit whistle: no jiji. Looked everywhere: no jiji. Doorknocked all the doors on my floor: no jiji. NO JIJI! Ransack wardrobe, remove stuff, finally, under a pile of stuff, a timid lil jiji! Abseiling cleaners got on the balcony & scared her. Poor jiji!

jiji the black cat, in a very different mood from the state in which I found her today. Here, she sits up on my bed with her yellow eyes glowing against her black fur and her ears popping out of her head looking very alert, the faintest little whitish flufty tufty just below her chin, and she's silhouetted against a window and daintily holding a paw like a queen awaiting a minion to bestow a kiss upon it.

Power oligarch Mercury posted record earnings (up 36% on last year) and none of those earnings are going to alleviating extortionate power bills that are forcing people to choose between paying for heat and paying for food.
