Resident Evil was good/okay. I thought the comedy brought some levity to the events of the film. At the same time, it should have been dialed back some. The first half was pretty good! The conclusion left me unsatisfied. Definitely the best RE movie for sure!

Finally getting around to seeing Resident Evil. Maybe this will inspire me to start playing through the games again?

Finally got all my SNES games into miniboxes from Minibox Gaming! Only had a handful of N64 and Genesis games sitting loose on the shelf so those are done, too! Working on NES and Atari 2600 next but I'm gonna take a break because too many games are coming out!

QTP with 4 games in your backlog! I have a ton of games in my backlog but I'd really like to knock these games off of it before the end of the year.

The overarching theme of the Star Wars sequel trilogy is that fascism will come right back in a few years if you don’t completely stamp it out.

This dude is tagging others to come at me because of my take on Star Wars. 🤣 Where are his parents so I can tag them so they can limit his screen time? 😆

It's 9/26/2026 and I am still waiting for an update on Rainbow Cotton from Strictly Limited Games. I pre-ordered my copy on 9/22/2023. But yeah, everyone will keep telling me that Limited Run Games takes forever to deliver games. 🙄

I really like when these older FPS games have environments that are actual places or rooms where things live and do things. Not a fan of the mazes or more abstract looking areas.

Nearing the end of Marvel's Wolverine and loving it! I think the hate from "gamers" and many critics have been pretty harsh. I think the worst aspect is that it plays it pretty safe when it comes to gameplay. It doesn't do much to stand out from other games in the genre.

The year 2000! I feel like some of these games could switch ranks around, but I'm happy with this list for now. I probably spent hundreds of hours with friends playing Perfect Dark multiplayer and hundreds of hours creating horrible skate parks in Tony Hawk. 😆

Perfect Dark
Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2
Banjo-Tooie
Pokémon Silver Version
Bomberman 64: The Second Attack!
Strider 2
Marvel vs. Capcom 2: New Age of Heroes
Gundam: Battle Assault
Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards
Star Wars: Episode I - Battle for Naboo

So I think we are overdue for a collection of the Rush games on modern platforms? At least put the N64 games on NSO. I don't think I was aware that the series saw one more release on PS2/Xbox/PSP/PC until just now.

The agenda is being forced upon us. Even our games aren't safe.

A bright sun in a clear blue sky with bold text below stating, "They made the sun bisexual in GTA 6." The word "bisexual" is in a vibrant pink and blue design. "INFOWARS" is written at the bottom.

1999! Weirdly, Ehrgeiz was my introduction to Final Fantasy, or more specifically: Final Fantasy VII. Dreamcast games have appeared!

Super Smash Bros.
SoulCalibur
Tony Hawk's Pro Skater
Mario Golf
Ehrgeiz
Power Stone
Donkey Kong 64
Jet Force Gemini
Star Wars: Episode I - Racer
Pokémon Snap

1998 was probably the best year for the N64. Only two games of this top ten aren't on the console. Mystical Ninja was just a random rental for me btw. Glad I found that game! Can't wait to play the OoT remake!

Banjo-Kazooie
Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
Star Wars: Rogue Squadron
Marvel vs. Capcom: Clash of Super Heroes
Bomberman Hero
F-Zero X
The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening DX
Rush 2: Extreme Racing USA
Turok 2: Seeds of Evil

1997 is probably one of my favorite years in gaming. The N64 and PS1 had a lot of great games! Can't forget Capcom's iconic crossover series in arcades either!

Star Fox 64
Castlevania: Symphony of the Night
GoldenEye 007
Mario Kart 64
Bomberman 64
Marvel Super Heroes vs. Street Fighter
Diddy Kong Racing
Final Fantasy VII
Mega Man X4
Mischief Makers

000

1996! Super Mario RPG is so close to taking the number one spot! The N64 era is here!

Super Mario 64
Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars
Kirby Super Star
Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire
Panzer Dragoon II Zwei
Mega Man X3
X-Men vs. Street Fighter
Pilotwings 64
Killer Instinct Gold
Guardian Heroes

000

1995! It's definitely getting more challenging to pick just ten games! Probably some slightly controversial rankings here!

Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island
Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest
Panzer Dragoon
Trials of Mana
Chrono Trigger
EarthBound
Marvel Super Heroes
Mega Man X2
Mega Man 7
Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Fighting Edition

Listen, I love the holidays! Christmas music, the decorations, the snow, and seeing family/friends. I'll even tolerate stores setting up decorations before Halloween. But it is WAY TOO EARLY to be running holiday themed commercials, Walmart. 😒
