Tillie didn’t sleep much last night. This morning, she has melted into me and I am now stuck with a twitchy, dreaming dog resting on the more painful of my two thighs. She’s totally worth it.

The head of a black and white ESS is laid on the jeans-clad knee of her owner. She is fast asleep, You can just see the blue bandage that covers her injured foot.

I suspect I’m already a bit right 😔 Nicely written and acted. Amber’s realisation of the trauma of birthing 😱 is helpful to her mental health - she’s put words to what she felt, which means she’s already processing it. Very healthy. #TheArchers

BBC interviewing man from the NHS Trust about the horrific breast cancer mistakes. Says they are sorry for the harm ‘experienced by’ the women. No, sir, your trust should be sorry for the harm ‘caused to’ the women. Unless you accept that you caused this, you aren’t apologising. Language matters.

Watching a report on the Bayeaux Tapestry. The female curator was held by the shoulders by a suited older man and moved backwards away from the tapestry as she continued explaining it to the king and Pres Macron. Clearly her expertise and personal space were less valued than a good picture 😡

In case you’ve not heard… There is a captcha scam going around, where scammers ask you to ‘prove you are human’ by doing unusual things. This, from UoY, explains it fairly simply. It’s been around a while, but seems it may be having a resurgence.

This is something I have frequently found helpful. I did a version of it while having a gastroscopy, it helps me to cope in an MRI scanner, and helps calm my mind when things feel wrong. 7/4/11 is also helpful when I’m trying to get to sleep.

At the hospital earlier the nurse was wearing a mask. I asked if she’d like me to wear one as well and she defensively assumed I was asking because I thought she was contagious. Sign of the times, I guess, that she assumed my offer was based on selfish concerns 😔
