I spotted this ribbon-worthy pumpkin growing on a median under the freeway which led me to discover the San Francisco Street Tree Nursery and it reminded me that it’s just so great to observe your surroundings and learn cool things. I hope they win something in Half Moon Bay.

Baylands Nature Preserve is 1,940 acres of tidal marsh and open space, and one of the elite bird watching spots on the West Coast. Thank “Baylands Lucy” it survived.
