these super low profile thumb braces are the reason i can play video games again and i did a lot of searching to find them. no provider recommended them to me for video games! none of them really knew what to do about gaming. i don't want to gatekeep! www.mothership.blog/a-thumb-brac...

A thumb brace has let me play games pain-free for the first time in years

Finally, I have achieved my fitness goals. My thumbs grow buffer by the day.

if you’re going to use Tauri over Electron, *please* test your software on macos and linux and windows. you’re using fundamentally different runtimes on each platform and if you don’t test it just use the chromium one

this stuff pisses me off because as someone with autism & audio processing disorder "live captions for phone calls" would be one of the best accessibility wins in my life. but they are attached to the worlds most privacy destroying wearables ever.

Temporal is now Stage 4 at TC39 🎂🎂🎂 Thanks to all the other champions of JavaScript's new date-time API. It has been a wild ride over many years! I wrote a blog post explaining how we got here 📜 bloomberg.github.io/js-blog/post...

Code example showing the usage of Temporal.ZoneddateTime

```js
// London DST starts: 2026-03-29 01:00 -> 02:00
const zdt = Temporal.ZonedDateTime.from(
"2026-03-29T00:30:00+00:00[Europe/London]",
);
console.log(zdt.toString());
// → "2026-03-29T00:30:00+00:00[Europe/London]"
const plus1h = zdt.add({ hours: 1 });
console.log(plus1h.toString());
// "2026-03-29T02:30:00+01:00[Europe/London]" (01:30 doesn't exist)
```

you unlock food autism when you figure out that the reason salad and coleslaw taste bad is because it is supposed to be mixed with the other parts of the meal instead of sectioned away on the far corner of the plate

Great, great talk by @zachleat.com at #SotB26: „It’s 10PM - do you know where your JavaScript is?“ Very entertaining, very thought provoking and a trip through Web UX history with a very critical point. (Didn’t expect to see MM_swapImage today.) 2026.stateofthebrowser.com/speaker/zach... #SotB
