Watching Resident Evil (2026) felt like sitting on the couch with a friend who hates horror games but he's been bribed into playing one. Zach Cregger did an immaculate job of giving the gameplay experience of Resi without the bloated cast of the games and with some genuine scares. 4.5/5 doubloons.
