The Feb 11 executive order does say the goal is to reduce permanent staffing levels to only those personnel otherwise designated as "essential" during a shutdown. For IRS, would mean a 70% reduction from 2024 levels in non-filing seson, or 55% reduction during filing season(!!) #TaxBS #TaxSky
