A few people have claimed the oil and gas industry isn't really keen on this whole conflict due to uncertainty, but I think there's a chance they see through that part and just pocket the upside from the downside we all face (higher prices for pretty much everything)

There is a human right to a stable climate and states have a duty to protect it. That's one of the key findings of a new advisory opinion by the Inter-American Court of Human Rights, which was requested by Chile and Colombia two years ago.
