Shell has reported bonanza profits of £5bn, thanks to soaring energy prices during the war in Iran. The company's profits for the Q1 2026 are 115% higher than the £2.35bn Shell reported in Q4 2025. Crude climbed from $61 a barrel in January to highs of $119 by the end of March.
